News:

The National Ornamental Metal Museum in Memphis, Tennessee has selected me for their Tributaries Exhibition Series. My work will be on display from November 12, 2010 until February 27th, 2011.

I will be unveiling my new body of work, Standards, at Quirk Gallery in Richmond, Virginia May 6-June 26, 2010. I have been working hard on these pieces and I am really excited about this new work!

Velvet da Vinci Gallery and Nancy Megan Corwin have invited me to participate in "Chased + Repoussé", presented in conjunction with the recent publication of Megan's new book "Chasing and Repoussé - Methods Ancient and Modern".The show will be up March 17 - April 18, 2010 at Velvet da Vinci in San Francisco.

I have work in a show in Seattle for the month of February: Hard Brilliance: Diverse Approaches in Enameling at the Pratt Fine Art Center. The opening reception is Thursday, February 4th, and the show closes February 26th, 2010. Many thanks to Rebbecca Tomas for inviting me to participate!

Nancy Megan Corwin's new book, "Chasing and Repoussé - Methods Ancient and Modern" is out and it is a fabulous new reference book for one of my favorite metalsmithing techniques. I also have some images of my work in the book, and am very excited to have an image of one of my Gnaw pieces on the back cover!

A few of the "Gnaw" series have been selected for inclusion in "to be: (determined) - an exhibition of the first five" at the Clara Hatton Gallery at Colorado State University in Fort Collins, CO October 26 - November 20, 2009. The opening reception will be Friday, November 6th, 2009.

My piece "Bound" will be included in The Enamel Show at Velvet da Vinci Gallery in San Francisco, CA August 5-September 6th, 2009. The opening reception will be Friday, August 7th, 2009.

I will have a small show of recent toys and a selection of my Gnaw pieces at Tilde in Portland, OR for the month of July.

My work has been accepted into the Enamelist Society Annual Conference Exhibition "Surfacing" opening August 7, 2009 at the Oakland Art Gallery in Oakland, CA

I have images of work published in the new book "500 Enameled Objects" from Lark Books - look for "Deliberate" on the back cover...

Three of my pieces have been accepted for the online exhibition sponsored by the Society of Midwest Metalsmiths "Metal Inclinations", and my Turkey Walker was awarded a special Award of Merit.

Three of my pieces have been published in the new book "500 Metal Vessels" from Lark Books.
